Nearing an End...?

It's been awhile, and I thought that it was past time that I posted something new on the condition of my mother. So, here it goes...

She's out of the hopsital and had a visit with her real doctor over in Sacramento. While there, and reveiwing over the notes from the docs where we live, he pretty much scoffed at them and was disturbed by their lack of attention to protocal and how poorly they handled my mother. While she was in their care, they weren't giving her her iron tablets like they should have, or this other medicine that she's supposed to take before she eats, so that it helps to kept her stomach acids down and help heal her ulcer. Also on the docs list of her conditions, (and this cracks us all up) the doctor said that my mother had lied to them and told them that she wasn't throwing up blood. (Which is a major sign of ulcers) My mother wasn't, but the doctor didn't believe her and made a note of it on the record. What makes us laugh though, is that towards the end of the report they listed that my mother was anorexic! :laughs:

If anyone knows my mother, there is no way that you could call her anorexic, and the only reason why they put that was because she lost two pounds while she was under there care, which, I can see, given that they weren't letting her eat due to her condition. They also said that her teeth were kind of worn like somebody who was anorectic, but I don't see how, and niether does she.

Well, asides from the ridiculous hospital bill, she's doing better. Except for her occasional fainting spells when she sits down or gets up to fast, and the fact that she thinks that she's still bleeding, but she's not positive. She thinks that she just needs to continue taking her iron pills and that everything will be fine in time.
